We've seen tons of great videos from previous Richshaw Run events (see our Lost Tuk Youtube page for examples) and we have been talking about shooting video of our adventure ourselves. Well, turns out that our friend Ben was able to hook us up with the great folks over at GoPro. If you ride mountain bikes, race moto, kayak, surf, et al I would be shocked if you are not familiar with the products. Basically it will allow us to shoot FULL HD video of adventures on our trip. We will be equipped with 3 different cameras that we can mount around the rickshaw. We will be using one of the GoPro car mounts, as well as some of the 1st person chest straps to shoot footage. We will also be combining the GoPro product with our other great sponsor XShot to have some video on extended arms pointing back at our vehicle from unique angles never seen before.
Jim is really excited about the prospect of sending out videos during our trek. We are a bit weary of the ability to get online and upload video, but we are going to make every effort to make this happen so you can follow along not only with blog posts and status updates, but with video as well. Either way, we will be producing a video this fall of our excursion!
