We wanted to give a shout out to one of the companies that helped us out with donations for the run. This one comes from the good folks over at http://www.rescuetape.com/. My cousin, Heather, took one look at the photos of a rickshaw and told me that we are certainly going to need some rescue tape. So far we have zero shop manuals, zero tools packed up and I generally am not ready for the trip. But we now have 7 rolls of Rescue Tape! I expect this stuff to save us multiple times on the trip. Examples that come to mind are...hose leaks, wiring shortages, as well as the obvious..... keeping the girls quiet. Apparently it can also be used as a tourniquet or emergency wrap over bleeding injuries. Win/Win. It comes in multiple colors so we should be able to match it to our pimped out rickshaw. And with the extra rolls I am sure we can make some trades for other goods and services along the route.
