ALRIGHT, so SteriPEN officially rocks!!!

Our team had done research on different water purification systems on the market, and kept coming back to SteriPEN as being best in class-through both product reviews we found online and in talking to others that have used them.  (One guy we knew spent 3 months traveling in Asia with his trusty SteriPEN and didn't get sick once!) So we sent our begging email to SteriPEN's VP of Marketing asking if they could help us out with an in-kind donation of some of their UV water purification systems and their generosity BLEW US AWAY! 

Not 1, not 2, not even 3, but FOUR systems!  They sent us 3 Journey Safe Water Systems so we each have our own kit (each containing a 1L water bottle, filter, and handheld UV purifier), as well as 1 back-up UV purification pen, the Adventurer Opti (which is one of their new products!).  In all, this is over $400 in product donation to help keep us as healthy as possible inside our lil' rickshaw! We're so thankful for their support!

Aside from the obvious need to purifiy tap water in a country like India, we've also heard that anywhere in India (but particularly in Northern India) we have to be particularly careful of sketchy "bottled" water so since we have all these great products, it may be best to just put any ANY water, even if it does appear to be bottled, through this magical water purification system before drinking it. Killing pretty much everything in 1/2 a liter of water in only 48 seconds...pretty sure using these products on any water, tap or bottled, will be a pretty wise time investment!
